Hi James,

I'd like to tell you about Ramadan. Ramadan is a religious month. In this month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset for thirty days. So, they don't eat, drink or smoke all through the day. It's a period of time when we try to behave, pray more, be more patient with each other and be kind and generous to people. We stop fasting at sunset, and after prayers we have an evening meal. It's called Iftar. Families visit one another in the evenings. If someone visits us, we usually serve them drinks like cola and some sweets.
